Experience the Spiral of the Forest
The course of your own life, the spiral of a tree, the heartbeat of the forest - find the similarities between your own and a tree's life and immerse yourself on this poetic journey!

How does your life unfold?
How does a tree's life unfold?
Before you begin...
Choose your time wisely. A day with gentle weather, if possible. A time when you can move slowly, without urgency.
Bring:
-
A piece of natural yarn or twine (cotton, jute, or hemp — biodegradable).
-
About 10–20 meters (30–60 feet) is plenty.
-
Comfortable clothing you can move easily in.
-
Optionally, water and a small cloth to dust off feet if walking barefoot.
-
Be barefoot if you feel safe.Let the ground know you through your soles.(If the terrain makes this unsafe, wearing soft, flexible shoes is perfectly welcome.)
-
Silence your phone — except for playing the audio.Let the forest — not the screen — be your attention.

Start by picking a tree
Let the experience unfold
How It Will Unfold
You will first listen to a Prelude, inviting you to slow down and choose a beginning place in the forest.
Then, when you feel ready, you will move through
5 chapters at your own pace.
Each chapter will guide you deeper — through breath, movement, memory, and connection.
You will weave a thread through the forest as you walk — tying it gently from tree to tree —
a spiral of remembrance and return.
You will witness beauty, and you will witness pain.
You will be asked to walk with reverence, tenderness, and courage.
You will not walk alone.
A Request
Please treat the forest with the same respect you would offer to an elder, a grandparent, a beloved.
Take everything you bring back out with you — including the yarn, and every thread of your attention.
Leave only gratitude, breath, and the soft imprint of your care.
